My new rig comes in tomorrow 7/23/09

This is what i ordered from them...I am so excited!!! I will have Friday night off and if anyone wants to tell me what I should put on this beast let me know...like software accessories that you use and that help you...ex. gaming boosters and stuff...
And, SHW, I would like your input on this subject! i want to overclock the processor and bus and with the cooling system that I have and all of the parts...Would I even need to overclock? or would my cooling system not even allow me to do that? Anyway, I think this thing is a big enough beast that I shouldn't have to overclock...I will upload some pics for you guys later to look at the case and stuff and all of the accessories!

well, you really don't need to overclock if you don't need the speed. Probably gonna guess 10-15% speed improvement, if programs even benefit from it. Just took a quick browse online, seems a average overclock with the i920 processor is about 2.66ghz --> 3.5ish - 4.5ghz. if this is only for gaming, you should probably just skip overclocking.

You can always try it out, see how high you can push your cpu. you do need to do some research if you plan on doing this.

I don't know if you got it yet or you still need advice. But have you checked out Cross Fire? It's supposed to be an " Ultimate multiple GPU gaming performance " It's supposed to let you expand your graphics.

Crossfire is for ATI cards only -- it's their brand name for SLI.

You've got a killer set up coming, virus. If I had to give my two cents worth, I would have gotten a non-wireless mouse (either one of the high end Logitechs or the Lachesis) and a better keyboard (something with mechanical switches, like SteelSeries'). But other than that, I'm jealous.
